Kohanano Brewery, Asakusa, Tokyo

We teamed up with Oliver Chan, a Japanese sake instructor, sake importer, and retailer in Hong Kong, to conduct a tour of the Kohanano Brewery in Asakusa.

On this day, in conjunction with the "Sake Fair", the world's largest sake event, more than 50 people visited Japan from Hong Kong, and 20 of them participated in the tour.

Sake enthusiasm is high in Hong Kong, and I was surprised to see that all of the participants had some kind of Japanese sake qualification.

We gathered at 9:30 in the morning and enjoyed tasting five types of sake while listening to Mr. Hosoi, the representative of Konohanao Brewery, and Mr. Kimura, the head brewer.

In Hong Kong, like Tokyo, land is limited, so it is difficult to build a large brewery, so there is a lot of interest in urban brewing facilities like Konohanano Brewery. Surprisingly, some attendees said they were actually planning to build a brewery in Hong Kong, and the venue was buzzing with excitement from the morning, as Konohanano Brewery might also be setting up a brewery in Hong Kong.

We plan to continue collaborating with Mr. Oliver and offer several-day brewery tours. We are very happy to be able to serve as a bridge between people with high sensitivities and the local community.

Asakusa half-day tours including a visit to Konohanano Brewery are held every Tuesday morning or on other days upon request.

Please contact us for details.
