We performed as a MC of a pairing dinner with world renowned sommelier, Mr. Shinya Tasaki.
On February 2, a GI Tone-Numata certified sake pairing dinner was held with sommelier Shinya Tasaki at Hotel Bella Vita in Numata, Gunma Prefecture. Guests enjoyed a pairing dinner of six certified sakes and French cuisine while listening to live commentary by Shinya Tasaki.
Our company participated as the secretariat of the GI Tone-Numata Liaison Council, and our representative, Miyauchi, served as moderator.
This was the first time that such a dinner event was held since GI Tone-Numata was certified in 2022, after the COVID-19 pandemic. I was very impressed by the fun-loving appearance of everyone from within and outside the region, and by Mr. Tasaki's colorful comments.
As the secretariat, we will continue to work to raise awareness of GI Tone-Numata.
