Craft Sake Experience in Asakusa: A Half-Day Tour by the Sumida River
This tour takes you to Asakusa, a lively neighborhood flourishing along the Sumida River.
In collaboration with Oliver Chan—sake educator, importer, and retailer based in Hong Kong—we invite you to visit KONOHANANO Brewery, the first craft sake brewery in Asakusa.

KONOHANANO Brewery Tour with Sake Tasting Flight (5 types of sake)
The highlight of KONOHANANO Brewery is its on-site koji room, a rare feature even among Tokyo’s craft sake breweries.
By producing their own koji, a vital element in the sake brewing process, the brewery is able to create a diverse range of flavors. They also employ traditional techniques such as the sandanjikomi (three-stage brewing) and use sake yeast strains, aiming to craft doburoku (unrefined sake) with exceptional character and craftsmanship.
This half-day Asakusa tour, including a visit to KONOHANANO Brewery, is available every Tuesday morning and on request.
