Just about 3 hours from Tokyo, this itinerary takes you to Nara City and Yoshino Town in Nara Prefecture.

Through Yukari, embark on a journey to experience the deep-rooted charm of Nara's sake culture, nurtured by centuries of rich history.

This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore Shōryaku-ji, known as the birthplace of modern sake, where you’ll gain deeper insights into sake brewing while immersing yourself in the history and culture of Nara.


【Sample Itinerary】

~DAY1~

・Visit Shōryaku-ji, the birthplace of refined sake ・Tour a local sake brewery in Nara ・Enjoy tastings of "Bodaizen" brewed during the Bodaimoto Festival, and learn about the traditional bodaimoto method, aged sake, and more from the brewers themselves


~DAY2~

・Travel to Yoshino and learn about traditional tarumaru (wooden sake barrels)

・Hike into the mountains to visit cedar and cypress plantations.)

・Visit a brewery that uses Yoshino cedar barrels in their sake brewing process

・Enjoy a sake pairing lunch featuring kakinoha-zushi (persimmon leaf-wrapped sushi), a local specialty of Yoshino

・Visit the sacred Kinpusen-ji Temple


~DAY3~

・Tour a large-scale sake brewery Take part in hands-on experiences like tasting moromi and koji, and join a sake tasting game.)
