Asakusa Konohana Brewery
We teamed up with Oliver Chan, a sake lecturer, importer and retailer in Hong Kong, to organize a tour of Konohana Brewery in Asakusa.
Gunma Prefecture (Tone-Numata), Kanto Region
As autumn deepened, I took guests from Hong Kong to the Tone-Numata region of Gunma Prefecture, which is an hour by Shinkansen and then a 30-minute drive from Tokyo.
To help them learn more about GI Tone-Numata, we worked with three sake breweries in the Tone-Numata region.
Ibaraki Prefecture, Kanto Region
An Ibaraki tour spotlighting sake, gourmet delights, and culture took guests to renowned breweries, Nakaminato’s seafood market, and Kasama’s famed pottery scene, showcasing the region's unique charm.
Nara Prefecture, Kansai Region
Our first Kansai sake tour took place in Nara, the birthplace of sake brewing. Highlights included Shoryakuji Temple, cedar and cypress plantations, and an in-depth exploration of Nara's rich history, culture, and brewing traditions.
Omachi City, Nagano
A visit to Omachi City in Nagano explores the treasures of the Northern Alps, with its 3,000-meter peaks and abundant melting snow, just an hour's drive from Nagano Station.
